Sofa Manufacturing FAQ — Lead Times, Samples & Terms

We are a direct manufacturer with our own production facilities. Our factories are located in Shenzhen and Hunan, China, with around 20,000㎡ of modern dust-free workshops with full epoxy flooring — helping us maintain clean production conditions and stable product quality.

We specialize in upholstered foam furniture, including: compressed modular sofas, living room sofas, functional sofas, sofa beds, kids sofas, kids play couches, kids beds, adjustable beds and foam mattresses. Our products are designed for different markets and living spaces.

Our foam products are vacuum compressed and packed in thick PE bags, then shipped in strong corrugated cartons to save shipping space and cost. After long compression, foam usually needs around 48–72 hours to fully expand and recover its original shape and resilience. Tips to speed recovery: unpack and fully expand the product, gently pat and massage the foam, keep it in a ventilated area at 20–30°C, and avoid direct high heat or heavy objects before full recovery.

There is no strict MOQ requirement — different quantities carry different prices, and small-batch orders are welcome. We fully support OEM & ODM services, including custom designs, fabrics, sizes and customized logos (woven label, printed label, embroidery badge, rubber label, silicone label, etc.). Free custom logo labels are available, and the customization process is simple and efficient.

OEM: you supply the design or drawings and we manufacture to your spec. ODM: we propose the design, materials and construction based on your target market and price point, and you brand it. Most partners start with ODM to shorten development time.

Yes, sample orders are available. Regular samples usually take around 10–12 working days to produce. Samples need to be collected, and there is a fee for the sample as well as international shipping. For bulk orders reaching one 40HQ container, the sample fee can be refunded or deducted based on agreement.

Product safety and environmental protection are core to our manufacturing philosophy. Key certifications: OEKO-TEX Standard 100 (textile safety for fabrics, yarns and zippers), RoHS compliant (restriction of hazardous substances), and CertiPUR-US certified flexible polyurethane foam. Every product in our lineup features YKK zippers under a long-term supply agreement with YKK's original factory.

Professional QC staff inspect both materials and production processes. Our quality control includes 4 semi-finished product inspections (pre-production sample, mid-production, finished product, first packed sample) and 3 packaging inspections (worker self-check, QC sample check, final packed product check). Every shipment is 100% inspected, our first-pass yield rate stays above 98%, and we provide a 1-year warranty for all products.

Regular production lead time is around 30–40 working days. We support sea shipping, air shipping and international express (DHL / FedEx / UPS). Trade terms available: EXW, FOB Shenzhen, CIF / CFR, and DDP / DDU door-to-door service. We can also provide customized shipping solutions based on your requirements.

Our standard is vacuum compression — foam products are compressed, wrapped in thick PE bags and shipped in strong corrugated cartons to save shipping space and cost. Flat-pack cartons and palletized export packing are also available depending on the product and your channel.

We support bank transfer (T/T), credit card and Alibaba Trade Assurance orders. As an Alibaba verified supplier, your payment can be protected by Alibaba platform escrow service until order completion.

Yes — we can assist you in meeting the specific certification requirements of your market. We also provide the documents needed for customs clearance: commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin, and more. Our team provides quotations and customization solutions within 3–10 hours.
